Especially for Kids

Campus and community organizations offer programs for children and families. Among these are:

  • SmARTKids is the Smart Museum of Art's programming especially for children, during which kids can learn about and create their own art.
  • Hyde Park School of Dance welcomes students of all ages, whether they are interested in dance as a career or for exercise and recreation.
  • The Hyde Park Art Center's mission is to stimulate and sustain the visual arts in Chicago. It is the oldest alternative exhibition space in the city and boasts a long record of education outreach in the community.
  • Little Black Pearl's mission is to create opportunities for youth and adults to deepen their creative involvement through the arts.
